- Acca
- Short for accumulator, a parlay that combines several selections into one larger payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A type of spread that eliminates the draw option and uses quarter-goal lines to reduce ties.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting activities.
- Bookmaker
- The company or platform that sets odds and accepts bets.
- Both Teams To Score
- A wager that predicts whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, loss) in a single match.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit that allows you to place a bet without risking your own money.
- In-Play
- Same as live betting; refers to odds and markets available during the match.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is in progress, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Margin
- The built-in advantage a bookmaker has in odds, often expressed as a percentage.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with odds shown as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- The number that tells you how much you can win relative to your stake, reflecting the implied chance of an outcome.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the parlay to pay out.
- Push
- When a bet ends in a tie, resulting in the stake being refunded.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools aimed at ensuring betting remains safe and within personal limits.
- Settlement
- The process of finalizing bet outcomes and crediting winnings after an event.
- Spread
- A handicap given to a team to make the teams more evenly matched for betting purposes.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Unit
- A standardized bet size used to manage risk, often a small percentage of your bankroll.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an edge.
- Void
- A bet that is cancelled and stakes are returned, usually due to a match being postponed or a rule violation.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw any winnings from it.
